Mixed Media Art Journal Swap

Here's the vid to what my cool partner sent me from Jeannie's Art Journal Swap...I had such a fun time creating the journal I made for my partner and I enjoyed what my partner sent me. Supplies Used:
Chipboard letters
Gesso
Teal acrylic paint
Strong adhesive
Sewing Pattern Tissue Paper
Stamps
Black Ink Pad
Bubble wrap
Ultra Fine Glitter
Glimmer Mist
Glue n Seal

COVER
Step 1. I Glued random chipboard letters to cover using Aleene's Tacky Glue
(on bottom I spelled out "Laura")
Step 2. I Gesso'ed the cover
Step 3. I then covered with the pattern sewing tissue
Step 4. I painted it with the teal acrylic paint
Step 5. I ran some of the gesso over some of the cover to tone it down a little bit
Step 6. I did some stamping using a black archival ink pad in random places
Step 7. I used a gold pearlescent to cover the rand letters above name
Step 8. I used a black peralescent to outline "Laura" using a q-tip
Step 9. Sprayed with a"Sea Glass" Glimmer Mist
Step 10. Sealed with Glue n Seal by Inkssetials
Step 11. While wet used Ultra Fine "Summer Sea" Glitter

Happy Campers Mini Album

Hola Bloggers! :) Ahhhhh sweet sweet summer and what's a better way to spend time than camping in the pines with your loved ones....lol Since I've set the scene now...here's a mini that I made for the sweetestet person that I love so much. And I gave her this mini last night and she LOVES IT!!!! She ooooed and ahhhhed over all the critters on the pages and over all the details within this mini...It's such a pleasure to see that expression of happiness . She said she took pictures of her and her family and wants to print pics off so that she can fill her book. :) I'm just thankful I can bring a smile on her face and to mine. Here are some pics of the mini, I have a video on this project over on YT and you can find that HERE. I just got some new pattern paper from Bo Bunny to create another camping themed mini and I can't wait to put it together, after seeing the lil critters on this line my mind is racing with ideas. Blogadoras! :D Ok first....I'm Melting...melting...melting....LMBO...It is super hot here in AZ...but I LOVE it! Crafting Away!

Hello Fellow Bloggers...wanted to share my projects that I've been working on over the past few weeks. In between 4 kids, a hubby who is having gall bladder surgery tomorrow I've been feeling and wanting the need to craft just to keep sane!!! :D LOL! Crafting Again..... :D

Hola Bloggers! WHEW....so glad to be among the crafting again....lol It's been awhile since I've been here on my blog and I sure do apologize about that. I'm coming back with a new exciting adventure that me and my partner in crime....Susi aka: Sillyshysushi are doing together. We have made a challenge for ourselves to make "masculine thememd projects" We've noticed that there are not that much out there for guys. So with that we thought it would be a great way to hopefully bring some inspiration and share with our crafting community. :D I have started with a couple of vids on my youtube channel, just CLICK HERE and you will automatically be tooken right to my channel. Here are some pics of the two Card/Gift Card Holders. I also have kits for sale if you are interested in them. They will sell at $5 each and $2.50 for shipping and handling. Insane in the Membrane!!!!!

LOL...no me not gonna try to sing Cypress Hill song to you all.....although I do love that song....just this is how I've been feeling getting back to work and all...it's been a hard few last weeks for me, but it's getting a little better. The best part is now I'm getting a PAYCHECK...always great...right! And the worst...worst...worst part is...my weekends are so darn SHORT!!!! I soooooo miss scrapping and crocheting right now....but I do data entry all day, and when I come home I just eat din din and go to sleep....I do have a vid coming out soon, I am participating in Zoe's YTLH, this month's theme is Easter, it will be this Friday on youtube, so make sure you all check out all the vids. Well Bloggers...I'm off...going to take my dad to the movies and lunch at REEEEEEEEED ROBBBBBIN....YUM! I can't wait...I have been craving some Red Robin since a certain bestie told me she recently went....ummmmmmm steak fries.....OMG my stomach is growling.....AY! Until next time! PEACE!

Learning A New Craft! :D

Hello Bloggers! Seems like I haven't been on here forever but, really it's only been about two weeks....LOL! I have become an official CROCHE-RRRR! :D I LOVE IT! I've always liked crocheting and the only real thing that I could do crocheting was make a long chain...I mean super long...after that, I was lost, confused...didn't get it! ETC. ETC. I know DRAMATIC...aren't I! LOL! A few years ago I tried to make a blanket for my son, and let's just say it looked like a DORITO Chip by the time I finished it!!!! Today I am soooooo super proud of myself that I've completed my first project, my NEOPOLITAN baby blanket, I was so craving some and that's what inspired me. The next one I started I was inspired of watermelon but...I couldn't find the right exact colors for watermelon and used these springy colors....so glad I did. If I say so myself it's coming out Great! It's so girly! This blanket I'm going to make to cover a single sized bed for my mama's, Juliza. Now I have DEMANDED orders that I need to make more for the rest of the kids. And in specific colors! YIKES what have I done!!!! LOL! Here are some pics that I wanted to share.
